Our Technology
At AppLift, we help advertisers get connected with users of their choice through a multitude of products and technologies. Our data pipelines crunch terabytes of data every hour from hundreds of sources, processing views, clicks and conversions using state of the art algorithmic models, which then gets used to make smart bids, offer performance based billing to the advertiser, detect fraud, and match the right user to the advertiser. QA Engineer (m/f) for AppLift Job Description

Location: Berlin, Germany 

What we do:
We’re here to solve a problem faced by all mobile app marketers: how to find the best possible users for their apps at the best possible price. By connecting mobile app marketers with over a billion users worldwide through our performance-focused technology, we enable them to acquire just the ones that will help them to achieve their business goals.

Your Responsibilities:

• You work closely with our developers and product managers to maintain the high quality of our products
• You manage QA in your own Scrum team, deciding priorities, deployment and more, communicating with developers, Ops, PMs and QA Lead
• You define, write and execute test scenarios and use cases both manually and automatically 
• You support project management and our development team
• You are responsible to automate tests and reports, run and reflect them 

QA Engineer (m/f) for AppLift Job Requirements

Our Requirements:

• You bring at least 3 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance and working with issue tracking tools
• Knowledge of automated tools and languages: JavaScript, Ruby, RoR, Selenium (for JavaScript & Ruby) is a big plus 
• Experience in a complex deployment process is an advantage
• First hand experiencein Grey box testing is nice to have 
• Demonstrated capability and motivation to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding start-up environment
• Very strong communication skills with external and internal stakeholders, you are fluent in English
• You like to solve complex problems and are able to prioritize between different projects at the same time
• You are a team player and don’t mind “getting your hands dirty“ to support others
• You think big and have a passion for achievement
