Generate industrialization deliverables (6s=S, service mix, troubleshooting and knowledge transfers) and transfer towards the operational sectors Manufacturing and Customer support.
Job Description
The responsibilities of an Equipment Engineer within EUV wafer clamping group consist of;
- Support new product introduction to the field.
- Provide the industrialization deliverables towards the factory and customer support, for installing, diagnosing, upgrading, replacing wafer clamps, all aimed at minimizing cycle time in our factory and maximizing system availability for our customers.
- Active contribution to the definition of the project concerning serviceability, availability, OPEX etc.
- Deliver Knowledge transfers and training to EUV factory and customer support.
- Be the expert in analysis of complex issues on-site and in the factory, thereby collaborating with other manufacturing and customer support teams and the analysts/architects from the clamps project.
- Provide operational feedback on availability, OPEX, reliability, DoA's back to the projects and actively generate improvement proposals.
- Participate in cross sectoral meetings and be the link between CS and the development project.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Context of the positionWithin ASML the sector EUV is responsible for the development of ASML EUV scanner and source. The wafer clamping group is responsible to develop and deliver qualified electrostatic clamps which clamp the wafer onto the wafer stage. Wafer clamps are crucial to make lithography happen against the ever demanding specs on overlay, focus, defectivity and throughput while ensuring high availability. Within this group the wafer table cleaning functionality is also developed.
ASML - Equipment Engineer Job Requirements
Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or Electronics
Experience
0-5 years' experience in a machine-building industry preferably including;
- Experience as equipment engineer at ASML for > 1 year.
- Experience in a production environment with high tech products and complex production processes.
- Troubleshooting complex systems.
- Experience in the field of Technical Manufacturing Engineering and quality methodology.
Personal skills- Strong technical background interested in product and process.
- Strong social and communication skills.
- Get-on and do it mentality.
- Focused on quality, continuous improvement,
- Adequate English language skills in speech and writing.
- Dutch language skills in speech and writing are considered to be an advantage.
