Job Description
As a Test Automation Architect you are a member of the one of the software development teams responsible for implementing a part of the system functionality (functional cluster or FC ).
You take the lead in defining the functional cluster test strategy in close cooperation with the functional cluster SW architect (FCA) and lead SW engineers.
- You define, refine optimize automate, execute and report on testing at several levels. Ranging from unit test, integration test to system level functional test.
- You perform hands on work to automate and maintain the functional cluster automated test infrastructure.
- You “own” the SW test-benches.
- You act as reviewer for test plans of the functional deliveries and are the main consultant for the SW developers on the SW test competence.
- Together with the FCA, you define the functional tests that need to be executed to verify the functionality and performance of our products.
- You report the issues found and enable the product teams to judge the impact and risks of the issues. Lead time and test quality are important; you continuously seek ways to improve the efficiency and effectivity of your work.
- You suggest process/tooling improvements where necessary
Context of the positionYou report to the Group Lead of the Functional Cluster. In the project, a Team Lead or Project Lead is responsible for planning and progress.
ASML - Test Automation Architect Job Requirements
Bachelor / Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology.
Experience
- You have at least 3 years' experience in testing in a hardware/software environment.
- You are ISTQB certified or you have a similar certification and are willing to get an ISTQB certification.
- You have experience with test automation and with several test techniques.
Personal skills- You are flexible, result driven & have a “make it happen attitude”,
- You are a good communicator and a self-starter.
- You have an eye for detail and is accurate in the work execution.
- You can combine pragmatism in execution with a structural process approach.
