Your department
Within Vanderlande, Global Services is responsible for the Life-cycle Services development, execution and customer services of material handling solutions worldwide. As Reliability Engineer you are part of the Asset Management organization within Service Operations. Service Operations is an internationally operating service organization for our customers in the Airports, Warehousing and Parcel business units.
Service Operations consists of more than 300 employees who work together to make sure systems are available around the clock for our customers to use.
The Asset Management organization implements, analyses and optimizes the asset services from strategy to execution to deliver cost, efficiency, performance, and safety benefits. For all service contracts we develop and improve maintenance concepts.
We plan, prepare and follows up all maintenance execution activities. And we support and share knowledge with site based teams worldwide.We are dedicated to developing ourselves as a true business partner for our customers; and we are looking for talented people to help us!
Your position
As a Maintenance Engineer you are primary responsible for the effectiveness of our maintenance plans. You determine and advise on maintenance demands and translate maintenance concepts into executable and effective plans and standard procedures. You analyse the maintenance performance during the contract period and make recommendations for improvement and draw up improvement plans.
Tasks and responsibilities:As a Maintenance Engineer you help our organization to improve the service operations and deliver high quality of work, high reporting standards and an adequate follow up at all times. Also, you are responsible for the following tasks:
