Task Description
The Project Leader will lead software development projects for Baggage Handling Systems. These software projects are part of multidisciplinary overall projects (Mechanical, electromechanical/safety, SCADA, Low Level control and High Level Control). Typically, these projects have a duration of 3 to 6 months up to 1 year (senior) of development and testing, and subsequently commissioning and integration on site. The responsibilities will be to lead the software project development team (4 to 10 staff) day to day, stakeholder management, planning & tracking, change management, progress reporting and budget reporting.
Department Description
The BHS SWH (Baggage Handling Systems Software House) consists of around 90 Software developers, testers, architects and project leaders. The scope of this department is to develop High Level Control software solutions for Vanderlande's projects in the domain of Baggage Handling.The BHS SWH develops and maintains the BHS HLC (High Level Controls) software solution VIBES; a modular based software solution that runs Vanderlande's baggage solutions worldwide.
