Your department
Vanderlande is a multinational company, leader in the sectors of Baggage Handling Systems and Parcel& Postal. We sell, create and maintain integrated systems. Customer Centre Spain (V-ES) is a Vanderlande company, active throughout Spain, Portugal and LATAM countries. Our goal is to give customized solutions to our customers.
As a Site Manager your main functions/ tasks will be:
• Independent and customer focused working approach, with the right skill to manage projects.
• Ownership over all site related challenges and acknowledge a wide scope of site based responsibilities.
• Proactivity in reporting and resolving logistic, technical or organisational problems and have good communication with the customer about progress, out of scope work, non-conformities, timely payments and all other site related issues.
• Management and coordination of the team on site.
• Major contribution in project preparation.
• Creating a safe working environment.
• Assuring quality of installation.
• Improvement in processes both project and department.
• High level of reporting and communication.
Your position
You will be working closely with Engineers and team from on site and from Vanderlande’s office.
Your profile
• HBO (higher vocational education) in a technical subject as Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
• Proven previous experience as a Site Manager.
• Experience in automatic warehouses and logistic sector is preferable.
• Strong communicational skills and a creative approach to build professional client relationships.
• Ability to work within an international work environment, especially working within a project organization.
• Strong language skills in English (C1), both verbal and written, and a native/bilingual level of Spanish (C2).
• Availability to travel for several months.
