Are you the multidisciplinary engineer we are looking for, who can guarantee the quality and functionality of our products and keep our clients happy? Do you enjoy working with moving, automated systems too? If so, the position of (Multidisciplinary) Test Engineer is the ideal next step in your career.
The position
As a (Multidisciplinary) Test Engineer, you will focus on verifying and validating complete multidisciplinary products, such as software, robotics, electronics and mechanics, in every Vanderlande market segment. You will be challenged technically and be responsible for testing system quality and functionality. You will also deliver input for test plans, based on the relevant product criteria, the client application and the requirements applicable. You will then implement these test plans in an emulated environment, on the actual system in our Innovation Center or ‘on site’, paying careful attention to the analysis of any problems that arise. You will report on the problems found and work with the project team to deliver a prompt, high-quality solution, where necessary.
Your department
Together with the other members of your team, you will be responsible for setting up the test competence and implementing improvements. Your team, which consists of 15 test engineers, is part of the Research and Development Department and plays an important role in the optimisation of existing products and new technologies. The ultimate object? To strengthen our position in the market and showcase our distinctive character.
