Our client is one of the leading companies in the environmental and recycling industry. For their expansion plans in China, they are planning to develop a competence team, which supports the large CAPEX projects.

Therefore, we are looking for a Civil Engineer as expert for Industrial Construction (m/f) for a permanent position in the area of Berlin. Reference number: 325785/8

Your Duties:

• Provide input to cost estimates, project schedule and EPC tenders on construction
• Assure that Front End Engineering & Design (FEED) is realisable during construction
• Examine several design calculations, drawings and documents of Engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC)
• Provide technical advise and guide Construction Managers from project development to the final building stage
• Oversee the preparation of project specifications to plan and implement construction activities
• Develop and coordinate a project plan for the construction in close collaboration with the Construction Manager
• Evaluate and select construction contractors and oversee contract negotiations with consultants and suppliers
• Prepare and review reports on progress and cost and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports
• Supervision of construction works on site (temporary)

Civil Engineer as expert for Industrial Construction (m/f) Job Requirements

Your Qualifications:

• Completed studies in mechanical-, process-, electrical or civil engineering
• Practical experience in industrial construction, especially in large CAPEX projects
• Ideally experienced in the realization of similar CAPEX projects in China
• High awareness of Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) topics
• Business fluent English language skills verbally and written, ideally German
• Willingness to travel national and international
