Mechanical Design Engineer / Rotatives (m/f) Job Description

Your Duties:

• Perform rotatives design activities for various civil small and medium engines
• Generate design definitions as well as manage generation and release of component definitions and build instruction drawings
• Generate technical presentations for design review gates
• Perform concession and drawing alteration request assessments
• Coordinate and agree design interfaces
• Lead Design for Manufacturing (DfM) activities and interface with suppliers
• Coordinate external design work packages

Mechanical Design Engineer / Rotatives (m/f) Job Requirements

Your Qualifications:

• Engineering degree in mechanical, aerospace engineering or equivalent
• Professional experience in turbomachinery systems with proven track record
• Knowledge of core engine design and relevant manufacturing processes appreciated
• Solid knowledge of Rolls-Royce design processes and specification system
• Profound knowledge of drafting standards (ASME) would be beneficial
• Solid PLM (Teamcenter Engineering) and Unigraphics NX knowledge or similar software knowledge would be beneficial
• Profound English language skills (both written and spoken)
• German language skills are beneficial
