Internship: Create a test automation framework for TubtraxAssignment

Description of the assignment
The Research & Development (R&D) department of Vanderlande is responsible for the development of new products for internal material handling systems for warehousing, parcel&postal and baggage handling systems. The project's development team which consists of testers, developers, a system architect, a project manager cooperates to deliver a quality product.
Vanderlande applies its Tubtrax system in its projects to sort and transport bagage with high capacity in combination with high reliability. Bagage enters the system at various entry point after which it is transported to different destinations. The tubtrax system is controlled by software (STEP 7 on PLC's).
Additional interfaces are available to monitor and control the system (e.g. SCADA, maintenance GUI) and to optimise its performance (Vanderlande high level controls).
The Tubtrax system is subject to new developments and changing rapidly, which requires extensive testing in a very short period of time:
