ASML delivers advanced lithographic equipment for the semiconductor industry. To minimize costly downtime of these complex machines, our chip manufacturing customers are typically supported 24/7 by ASML field service engineers.
Their task is to effectively diagnose and repair equipment issues. In case ASML equipment goes out of service we consider three four phases: diagnose, access, repair and recovery.For the diagnostic phase of the repair the service engineer will consult a knowledge base with repair procedures and diagnostic solutions that are traditionally incorporated into a set of software tools (historically on laptops, now moving to server systems).
You will coach and manage a team of experts in diagnostic processes and content. You are an experienced senior manager to lead improvement projects in the way diagnostics is defined and used both within D&E as in the field.
Job Description
You will act on operational and tactical level in management teams of the S&MT department and drive strategic goals in line with the availability roadmaps for each of the product platforms.You will be responsible for process analysis and initiating diagnostics optimization opportunities
You will work closely together with internal stakeholders at all levels and multiple sectors (Development & Engineering, Customer Support, Program Management, IT).You will be responsible to have a deep understanding of our data acquisition, analytics and process to be able to translate it into efficient diagnostics way of working.
Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent. A second option is a Master degree in another expertise but with significant relevant working experience in this area.
Experience
You need to have 8-10 years of relevant experience in a large international high tech company and knowledge as well as a proven track record of service organizations.
