Systems Engineer Pumps (m/f) Job Description

In the role as a Systems Engineer Pumps (m/f) in Development Diabetes Care, Your responsibilities include:
- Creation and testing of a modular, expandable and robust pump architecture in close cooperation and coordination with the managers of the system architecture
- The definition and description of the pump architecture (subsystems and components) based on the project portfolio in exchange for technical project managers and systems engineer with the IDS (Insulin Delivery System) or the architects of the adjacent compartments
- Bringing in expertise from the field in the pump in the system architecture and design to product goals (performance, cost, safety, reliability, size, etc.)
- Ensure that the reusability of individual components or platforms in product development and lifecycle management
- Definition and description of the pump internal interfaces of different professional disciplines, as well as verification of the interfaces in the context of (pumping) of new developments or changes (pump) products
- Performance of the subsystem integration, coordination and monitoring of the interface and integration testing of the pump components and subsystems
- Cooperation and support of system engineering for the IDS system and substitution therapy with architects from other functional units and the development of methods

Systems Engineer Pumps (m/f) Job Requirements
To function as a Systems Engineer Pumps (m / w) the following conditions to bring:
- A successful university education as systems engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or medical engineer (technical college or university) and a further additional training or experience in at least one or more of these technical disciplines.
- Experience as a project officer in the execution of at least one product development from planning to launch.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with various stakeholders in the project environment.
- Good analytical expertise.
- Independence, high self-motivation and assertiveness.
- Very good command of spoken and written English.
