International Trainee – Engineering or Business Informatics Job Description

Within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Pierburg GmbH is implementing a concept which enables a smooth global integration of all information arising from the life-cycle of the product. With this background, we are looking for a new trainee for our PLM project with the following responsibilities:

• Analysis and documentation of PLM relevant business processes for Division Mechatronics
• Comparison and alignment of different specification to ensure consistence with the overall goals
• Support of the sub-projects providing assistance for preparation of specification sheets
• Ongoing support of project marketing in consultation with the project management
• Direct support of the project lead with coordination, communication and reporting
• Support of the core project team in the organization, e.g. reporting, scheduling, documentation of workshops and meetings
• If applicable, support of design of IT releases

International Trainee – Engineering or Business Informatics Job Requirements

• Bachelor or Master in Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in analysis, description and modeling of business processes as well as of product development process and / or process planning in manufacturing
• Experience in preparation of professional specifications for implementation into company's software
• Initial experience in the field of PDM/PLM, ERP, further business software desirable
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Open and communicative personality with strong team spirit
• Result-orientated with structured approaching
• International experience desirable
• Very good communication skills, strong team spirit, self-confidence and flexibility in thinking and acting
• Out-of-the-box thinker, who is ready to take over responsibility
