Our client is a leading technology product development and business consultancy practice. Their client coverage is global; they work at the cutting edge in creating and developing intellectual property and they provide intelligent solutions & strategy advice to existing or developing technologies & products.
Due to business growth, they are now looking for an embedded digital systems engineer to join their technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of client assignments over the consumer and medical products sectors. You will be required to put innovative solutions into practice within these markets, as well as develop embedded software and design electronics.
· First or 2.1 degree or PhD in electrical or information engineering, computer science, physics or similar subject
· Previous experience in embedded software implementation in C, digital design and electronics
· Strong mathematical background
· Experience in Linux, Windows, VHDL/Verilog, C/C++ and Matlab a significant advantage
· Understanding of analogue/digital electronics and board-level circuit design highly desirable
· Excellent communication and problem solving skills
