Job Description
As Domain Architect you will have a key position on defining strategies, roadmaps and implementation of new IT solutions within Finance and supporting processes in the Finance domain.You will participate in evolving and influencing industry trends, technologies and directions.
By taking the architectural lead in the execution of projects, you are responsible for implementing the new technologies.
When required you will support hands on in implementation and optimization projects.
You will be responsible for:
- Evaluating future technologies against business requirements, strategies and map them to IT capabilities;
- Ensuring compliance of architecture principles, policies and standards;
- Define a to-be architecture (in the context of an IT program or project) on multiple levels
- Business concepts
- Architecture building blocks
- Solution building blocks
- Align with other domain architecture within IT and with business architects.
Context of the positionThe IT division supports information management, infrastructure and (automation and optimization of) key business processes across ASML. The ICT infrastructure, hardware and applications are absolutely mission-critical for almost all ASML's internal and external activities. The Domain Architect Finance is working within the IT Competence Center Corporate sectors, reporting to the IT Director Strategy & Architecture.
The Domain Architect is closely working together with both IT architectural team and business stakeholders.
ASML - IT - Domain Architect Finance Job Requirements
Academic level or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
- At least 7 years of experience as an IT Finance architect on senior level;
- 10+ years of experience in other business and IT roles;
- Very experienced in delivering architectural principles, processes, infrastructure and solutions;
- A strong background at an architectural level in SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (including FI/CO integration with other SAP modules, BW, BPC);
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is a strong pre.
Personal skills- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Good team player with strong leadership skills;
- Strong ability of conceptual thinking;
- Passionate about driving new technology solutions;
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to write positional papers, white papers, policies, best practices and strategy documents;
- Good business focus and business facing skills.
