Algorithm Developer for Autonomous Driving (m/f) Job Description

We are offering an exciting position as an Algorithm Developer (f/m) in the area of autonomous driving, in
which you will help shape the future of mobility. Your tasks will include:

• Working in agile teams to develop algorithms and software solutions for the circulation models, as well as automated and semi-automated functions built upon them.
• Furthermore, you will develop the architecture of highly networked, innovative software in close cooperation with function specialists.
• Here, you will be involved in the entire development chain, from requirements analysis, algorithm design, implementation and validation of the software, through to integration of the software on the control devices.
• Moreover, you will write and optimise complex algorithms, such as for the recognition, classification or fusing of objects and open spaces fit for driving and you will provide support in implementing the algorithms into efficient embedded software.
• Your thrilling range of activities will be rounded off by the testing and validation of the developed algorithms, as well as testing of the functionality throughout the overall vehicle.

Algorithm Developer for Autonomous Driving (m/f) Job Requirements

You should have:

• University degree in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics or a comparable course of study.
• Expert experience in robotics (writing of algorithms for multi-sensor data fusion, object tracking, scene interpretation, SLAM, prediction, etc.).
• Extensive experience in software engineering, object-oriented software development, the programming languages C/C++ and in software development processes (agile processes, software quality and testing, UML).
• Extensive mathematical knowledge of statistics, numerical analysis and/or optimisation.
• Business-fluent English, German would be an advantage.
• Affinity for and openness to innovative software, cars and the future of mobility.
• Independent approach to work and personal initiative.
• Customer orientation.
