Project Manager Job Description

General tasks:

Applikon delivers turn-key bioreactor systems to the biotechnological and pharmaceutical market. As a project manager you are responsible for the successful completion of multiple turn-key projects executing in parallel and you manage day-to-day operational aspects regarding project scope, time and budget.

You steer multidisciplinary teams and keep them motivated and goal-oriented. Furthermore you are in direct contact with the end-user of the system, keeping the client up-to date regarding planning and progress. You also guide the customer through factory and site acceptance testing, if applicable. 

Overall, you retain the overview of the projects in your portfolio and report on a monthly basis to the Director of Engineering and Product Development.

Project Manager Job Requirements

Profile:

• You have a BSc or MSc degree, preferably in a technical field and affinity with the biotech market.
• You are detail-oriented, flexible, innovative and independent.
• You have good knowledge of the English language (written and verbal) and you are willing to travel abroad occasionally.
• You are familiar with G(A)MP/FDA guidelines and have experience in managing projects.
