The Platform maintenance and Development engineer will join the deliver team where you will maintain and develop software in mainly C and sometimes C++ or Python.

Job Description
Together with a talented team you adapt an existing software framework to the new standards in a demanding environment. The time pressure will be tangible and the quality standards should be met.

Context of the position
Within ASML, the sector Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the specification, design and engineering of the ASML products.

Within D&E, the Software Cluster is concerned with the design, development, testing and integration of the complete software package which drives a generation of ASML products, within the SW Cluster, the department Machine Control and Infrastructure (MCI) is responsible for the integration and releasing of newly developed platform software which drives a generation of several ASML products.

ASML - Platform Development Software Engineer Job Requirements

Bachelor (or Master Level) – Technical.

Experience

• Already had the role of software development
• Knowledge of C / Python / C++
• ClearCase / Git
• Knowledge of scripting / tooling.
• Experience with Linux / Unix / Solaris

• Enthusiastic, flexible and assertive
• Communication skills
• Able to influence without power
• Proactive attitude
• Searching own challenges
• Multi-tasking/dynamic
• Able to prioritize
• High degree of autonomy
• Ready to be employed for at least 2 years
