ASML is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of chip-making equipment.
Our vision is to enable affordable microelectronics that improve the quality of life.
To achieve this, our mission is to invent, develop, manufacture and service advanced technology for high-tech lithography, metrology and software solutions for the semiconductor industry.
ASML's guiding principle is continuing Moore's Law towards ever smaller, cheaper, more powerful and energy-efficient semiconductors. This results in increasingly powerful and capable electronics that enable the world to progress within a multitude of fields, including healthcare, technology, communications, energy, mobility, and entertainment.
As a Lead Engineer you will design and help implement solutions that improve the overlay accuracy between layers on actual product wafers of our customers. Your scope exceeds the overlay performance of ASML's lithographic equipment, and includes effects on overlay caused by processing equipment, masks, metrology, and the choices that are made by customer for process-setup and control.
You are responsible for the coordination of several projects and the people in the teams, you will be the point of contact for the Project leads. Realizing the upfront agreed performance specifications of customer projects. You will do this in close collaboration with the customer and other ASML teams.
You are expected to represent ASML as an expert in the team, and the field to get recognition. Since you will be working intimately with customers and sensitive customer data, a high level of integrity is required for securing confidentiality, while at the same time being able to give input to product managers and system engineers for ASML product improvements.
