Ensure “world class” support for Manufacturing to ensure production- and product quality, flexibility (quick ramp –up and –down), on-time delivery and short time to market by continuous improvement of production processes and products.
- Continuous Improvement: Cycle Time and Costs to be reduced, Quality and Efficiency to be improved
- Drive New Product Introduction to ensure ‘short time to market'
- Provide 2nd line support to Manufacturing.
Job Description Management:
- Manage a proper staffing and training of the group, a good work atmosphere and apply Human Resource policies and procedures. Guide the Production Engineering activities. Manage the workload, set priorities and assure timely and correct execution of all department tasks, solve bottle necks.
New Product Introduction:
- Ensure the know how in the group to support the development and introduction of new/changed products in the manufacturing processes. Participate actively in the introduction of new/changed products/processes/material flows/tools. Ensure the release for Volume e.g. by early Cycle Time analysis. Guard safety in all situations.
Means of production:
- Ensure the timely availability and the usability of tools and other means of production, including the knowledge transfer for proper use.
Improvement:
- Drive the cycle time and Manufacturing costs roadmaps for assigned MileStones. Improve on existing problems and initiate actions for further reduction. Standardize processes.
Trouble Shoot/Support:
- Ensure problem solving of escalated issues. Ensure proper solutions, or necessary follow up actions. Ensure initiation of support of other departments and drive follow up.
Analysis and reporting:
- Direct the process of analyzing the production processes on effectiveness and efficiency, in order to:
- indicate structural problems and solve them
- predict the feasibility of production- and product performance
- define and improve process parameters
Context of the position The sector Operations is responsible for the production of wafer scanners. The complete production process of the most advanced machines takes place within Manufacturing.The EUV Factory (EF) produces the newest generation wafer scanners. Within this Factory, Production Engineering (EF PS PE) continuously adapts, optimizes and supports the production processes (including the system installation and qualification process at the customer location).PE Vessel and MAQ (Module Adjustment & Qualification) Source supports the Mile Stones as performed in Vessel install, commissioning and Source qualification.
Both in factory and during field install.The holder of this position reports to the Manager of EF PS Production Engineering Source.

Bachelor or Master in a technical degree.
Experience
- Broad technical and business knowledge.
- Experience in project management, quality systems, -methods
- Experience in people management
- Experienced in problem analysis and production processes, asses technical solutions on feasibility and impact on the total process
- Preferably 5~10 years ASML (Manufacturing) experience
