About the position
Our clients are national and international companies active in both embedded as well as technical automation. As Technical Software Engineer your ambition lies in the field of technology. You are attracted to various challenging projects and like to take responsibility in order to successfully conclude assignments. Profit offers the opportunity to work with the latest technology and inspiring customers. Our customers develop High Tech equipment for the Semiconductor industry, large medical systems and small health tech solutions and automotive systems for navigation and autonomous driving. Since these products will also be connected to the cloud (enabling totally new solutions), we’re also looking for software engineers with a web-technology background."

Your daily activities include:

• Setting up architectures & technical designs and subsequently implement them.
• Testing activities on the basis of required specifications and technical designs.
• Both integrating software modules and complete systems integration.
• Writing all accompanying documentation.

TECHNICAL SOFTWARE ENGINEERS Job Requirements

Job requirements

• Minimum Bachelor degree in (technical) information technology, electrical engineering (direction embedded), applied physics, computer science or any related technical training.
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as C, C++, C# and/or Java.
• Knowledge of development methods, techniques and tools needed for software development, such as UML, RUP, Agile (SCRUM/extreme programming) and design patterns.
• Good organizational skills and ability to organize tasks (ie. planning, prioritizing, fulfilling obligations, keeping appointments).
• The ability to quickly adept new techniques, applications, tools, programming languages and operating systems.
• The ability to work in teams as well as project- and process working skills.
• Good command of both Dutch and English language, both orally and in writing.
