Our client is a leading technology development and engineering company developing technologies, products and manufacturing processes in a wide range of fields. Their clients are global leading businesses throughout the USA, Europe and the Far East.
 
Business growth means they are seeking a bight, innovative and commercially aware Development Scientist to provide leading-edge specialist application support and training at all levels.
 
Key Responsibilities 

• Work closely with development engineers to ensure LabTech products are cutting-edge and address end-user requirements.
• Design and carry out procedures to test instrument performance.
• Increase the robustness and broaden applicability of Labtech products.
• Suggest hardware and software modifications to enhance the function of existing and new instrumentation.
• Attend conferences and present new developments.

• Qualification in an appropriate science discipline like biochemistry and biotechnology.
• Significant experience or aptitude in structured problem solving
• Ideally has some expertise of Breadboard testing within an instrument development environment
• Analytical, methodical and organized approach
