Manage system progress towards committed delivery date. Claim resources for machine progress with Team leaders of SIE- group. Drive progress by executing progress versus plan.
Optimize machine planning by chasing problem owners, removing obstacles, optimize sequence, and escalate bottlenecks to appropriate stakeholders. Guarantee quality in way of working. Communicate status and planning to internal and external customer.
Job Description
- Ensure / drive machine progress versus customer commitment & quality standards.
- Contribute to production process improvements by initiating new improvements and ensuring follow-up on improvement loop.
- Maintain and improve the way of working on daily production plan execution and reporting, improvement methodology, support, training etc.
- Communication with regard to system progress / Business sense.
- Planning / Output: Coordinate system planning and drive system progress to reach committed delivery date. Claim capacity and prioritize together with Team leaders of SIE- group to assure system progress. Help / solve all escalations issues concerning system progress. Drive actual shift progress versus committed shift progress by SIE's. Contribute to effective use of SIE's designated to his systems. Management and the correct use of production resources within shift model.
- Quality: Assure system quality. Demand quantity and quality of delivered work on machines. Maintain and improve the way of working on daily production plan execution and reporting, improvement methodology, support, training etc.
- Customer: Lead communication about system progress and planning to account support. Contribute to account support - managing customer commitments.
- Team / People: Contribute to performance evaluation of technicians within SIE group. Coaching of SIE's designated to his systems to enhance their effectiveness. Continuously contribute to people management of the Team leaders (e.g. give feedback on performance of SIE's designated to his systems).
- Training: Contribute to training plans and training activities of Team leaders (e.g. make system time available for learning on the job).
- Reporting: System progress and planning. Report on bottlenecks (e.g. progress, quality, process, capacity, skills). Quality indicators (audits).
Context of the position The sector NXE Manufacturing is responsible for the production of lithographic systems as well as for logistics. The complete production process of the most advanced machines takes place within this sector. Introduce, produce and deliver leading edge lithographic systems, related products and services in a continuously changing market, on time, against competitive cost, with quality exceeding customers' expectations.
The System Owner Installation NXE reports to the Manager System Install Engineering NXE and manages the machine progress. Internal interfaces with the shift leaders, external interfaces with Account Support and External Customers.

BSc in a technical degree or equivalent experience.
Experience
Fair knowledge and understanding of ASML's technically complex products and processes.
