Senior Project Lead / Project Manager Job Description

A Project Lead is responsible for the OnTime-OnQuality-OnCost delivery of a project. Projects may vary from designing, producing, Testing and Delivery of Satellite components to doing a technical feasibility study.

Managing projects will require managing a considerable variety of tasks amongst which are;

• Calculation of qualitative and quantitative proposals,
• Planning of resources, production and/or tools,
• Administrating project process
• Evaluating production and/or program performance based on constant monitoring of budget vs actuals.
• Providing monthly Project Status Reports as part of a Program Status Review (PSR). 

• A Project Lead manages Customer requirements in line with the contractual agreements in terms of Compliance, Schedule, Quality and Cost (Budget).
• A Project Lead is for the total duration of one or multiple projects responsible for resource planning, contact with the Customer, definition of the program, quality and profitability in lieu of the oToQoC philosophy.
• A Project Lead directly supervises the project or product team according Company procedures with extra attention towards procedures on using the mandatory Project Management tools.
• A Project Lead is pro-actively engaged to continuously improve the overall project performance in line with predefined KPI's.
• A Project Lead is responsible for preparing proposals, involving core team members for specific expertise areas or volumes.
• A Project Lead will frequently discuss the progress states of projects with the Project and Proposal Manager and will, if needed, suggest a recovery strategy.

Senior Project Lead / Project Manager Job Requirements

• You have experience in the area of program/project management.
• You must have considerable background in applications such as Engineering and Finance to effectively manage resources utilized in support of these business functions.
• You have a bachelor degree in engineering (aerospace, electro-mechanical or equivalent) with at least 10 years plus experience in a similar position and industry
• You have a master degree in engineering (aerospace, electro-mechanical or equivalent) with at least 5 years plus experience in a similar position and industry.
• Having an advanced degree in Business/Finance management is considered a plus.
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Your English at full professional proficiency level
