As Optical Critical Dimension Integration Expert/Senior Specialist you will get the responsibility to improve the Yieldstar capability to measure critical dimension on customer product wafers. Knowledge of the technical possibilities and its challenges will make you an expert on CD scatterometry. This knowledge enables you to find solutions for our customer metrology needs. Designing and developing solutions is part of your job as well as bring in your knowledge to influence the roadmap and therefore the choices for the next generation of Yieldstar CD Product.
Job Description:
The job consists of following activities:
- Support projects & field with relevant work on Optical Critical Dimensions (OCD) specific topics
- Lead & drive internal & external software integration
- Identify future trends & related opportunities for OCD and trigger & align actions needed with CD program,
- System Engineering and Functional Cluster Owners (FCO's) Setup & maintain training program & train youngsters within and outside the team on OCD aspects
- Monitor current trends in OCD at the customers through paper study and attending conferences.
Context of the position:- Within ASML, the sector Development & Engineering is responsible for the specification and the design of the ASML products.
- The Product Group Applications provides integrated solutions with computational, metrology and control technology for extendibility and improved efficiency of lithography products.
- Within D&E Application the group CD (Critical Dimensions) applications covers the area of physics and mathematics development required to extract relevant metrics with required performance characteristics from the raw acquisitions, as well as the design, integration and test of new measurement functions enabling the necessary applications on and meeting the usability criteria of the metrology tool

Education:
- To qualify for this position you have a Master or PhD in Physics or Engineering
Experience:- You have >10 years' experience in Optical Critical Dimensions.
- Experience in the industry of semiconductor or equivalent.
- Expert knowledge on optics, material (optical) properties
Personal skills:- Drive to take lead in securing & coordinating deliverables.
- Strong analytic capability; you should be able to analyze complex datasets to identify root causes of observed issues and transfer them into generic solutions.
- Ability to translate new questions into technical requirements and potential solution space and generate the “helicopter view”.
- Result oriented attitude; be able to work with set deadlines
- Pragmatic approach and pro-active attitude
- Affinity to see the solution working at the customer
- Team player; you should be able to work efficiently in multifunctional teams
- Strong communicator; able to convince and motivate others; clear and open communication toward team and stakeholders
