As Senior Electrical Engineer you will be the member of the Engineering leadership team and will be accountable for direct engineering scope in projects throughout the entire cycle from initial concept to successful completion. To finish assigned engineering projects in accordance with customer specifications and within schedule and budget limitations, coordinating activities of engineering team, contractors, and vendors. The role will have a strong interaction with the rest of the world, especially with the design centers in India and Romania, but also NAM and APAC possibly.Responsibilities:– Co-lead a core NL engineering team (center of excellence), on project specific assignments;– Accountable for the technical integrity of all engineering solutions through identifying the risks and impact of decisions on broadly defined engineering problems;– Accountable for delivering operational engineering support activities to solve problems in order to deliver high operational availability and reliability;– Accountable for preparation and managing of the budget for the specific area of expertise, supporting the Maintenance Superintendent in the annual budget cycle (both in proposals and execution stage of project);– Assesses vendors for competence, capabilities, resources for specific technical scope of project;– Accountable for optimizing and assuring the application of Engineering standards, procedures, best practices within the respective projects;– Accountable for the engineering progress related to the projects;– Accountable for application and assurance of all facilities engineering statutory legislation, company policies & standards and procedures;– Accountable for the Engineering Change management process.
Qualifications:– Master degree in Electrical Engineering;– Proven professional engineering experience of minimum of 5 years in EPC facilities technologies within operations and capital projects;– Proven construction or operations experience;– Understanding of the safety and commercial impact of engineering decisions on an operated asset;– Be a ‘natural born leader', a self-starter/self-motivated, detail oriented and a good communicator, both written and oral;
