The Senior CAD Engineer is a member of the Support Group, a multi-disciplinary, highly skilled team providing all IT and EDA solutions within the Group. The provided design infrastructure for the IC development projects makes use of design tools from Cadence, Mentor, Synopsys and other software vendors.
With a pro-active, constructive, hands-on mentality, the Senior CAD Engineer will:
•Work on the application infrastructure together with technology and IP libraries and streamlines the Design Flow as a seamless, robust foundation for project teams.
•Provide support to Design Engineers to use the Design Flow.
•Develop and/or introduce new methodology for IC design and verification.
•Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar background.
Proven EDA experience with Cadence, Mentor, Synopsys IC design tools, programming and scripting skills in bash, perl, Skill, etc.
•Good analytic skills and challenged by new topics, tools and methodologies.
•Good understanding of Analog Mixed-Signal IC design, circuit implementation and layout verification.
•Strong person with good communication skills.
•Good verbal and written English.
