The Function Software Test Architect (FCT) is the counterpart of the Function Software Architect (FCA). The scope of interest contains and/or is related to the functional cluster Test Strategy, Design for Testability (DFT), Quality, Knowledge, and Execution.

Job Description
As Function SW Test Architect (FCT) you guide all test initiatives within the LOT DATA functional SW cluster. You define and own the test strategy plus roadmap and lead its execution. For this you will directly report to your Group leader and have daily interaction with Architects, Integrators and Software Engineers.

For deliveries you interact with the Test and Integration team and participate in their Functional Cluster Test Architect (FCT) meeting.The position asks for someone with profound knowledge of test techniques and a software background who enjoys giving the right direction and is capable to lead by example. In a hands-on way of working you will define, document and roll out guidelines for Testing.
This includes unit, component, Functional Cluster (FC) level testing, test coverage and test automation.

Main Responsibilities:
- Owner of the test strategy
- Review and define test plans
- Participate and support others in testing, Coach (lead) test engineers
- Reporting on quality

- Functional cluster Test Vision and Strategy
- Functional Cluster Test Roadmap
- Functional cluster Reference

Context of the position
You are member of the Core team (Group Lead, Team Leads, Functional Cluster Architects and lead engineers)

Education
Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems or comparable.

Experience
5+ year profound Test and Software Experience
Proven leadership and/or Architecture skills is highly desirable

Personal skills
You are someone who takes the lead and likes to give guidance to other team members. With your helicopter view you are able set up a test strategy to solve structural complex Software Test challenges. Besides you are a great communicator, you present matters in a clear way and convince others of your strategy.
