Control System Engineer Job Description

As (Lead) Engineer you will be responsible for developing the offshore crane control system. During the detail design phase you will lead the software and electrical development.Responsibilities

• During the conceptual phase you will perform overall functional analysis of the drives & control systems;
• With your strong knowledge of Active Heave Compensation you perform system analysis and develop algorithms;
• For the drives and contol systems you will create functional and technical specifications;
• Performing tests and simulations in order to validate solutions for the drives and control systems;
• Ensure compliance by applying rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• BSc/ MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Systems & Control;
• Experienced in the subsea offshore and/ or (offshore) crane manufacturing industry;
• Proven experience and knowledge with Active Heave Compensation;
