ASML - IT - Project Manager Product Lifecycle Management Job Description

As IT Project Manager in Solution Team Product Lifecycle Management, IT Competence Center Product, you are responsible to fulfill new IT demand from ASML's Development and Engineering sector.

You are responsible for the quality and delivery of all projects in the PLM project portfolio.You deliver IT Project Management in mechanical and industrial engineering projects and allocate critical resources from the department to projects.
You deploy and embed the IT Project Management Process and the standardized Project Management Methodology to improve project execution and control, supported by the Project Support Officer and the Means and Methods team.Projects vary in size and time. Normal approximately 50-750K projects with an average time of 9 months.

Job Description
You take ownership in complex projects that can have impact across ASML.
You ensure that projects are well embedded at the project boundaries; take ownership for and have in depth understanding of key project content, critical path and project dependencies.
You foster strong alignment between business and IT in general and all project stakeholders in specific.
You will lead based on overall vision and strategy for ASML and IT in specific and provide project guidance on governance and implementation strategy.
You manage your triple constraint - Time, Budget and Scope - and ensure accurate, timely and to the point project status reporting on critical path, key issues, risks, and remediation actions.
You differentiate main points from details and secure simple and concise formulation of project related documents like Project Initiation Document (PID), blueprint, requirements, detailed project plan.

The job has three focus areas,
1. Project Portfolio Management, 
2. Project management,
3. Improving the project delivery process.

Context of the position
Reports to a Solution Team Manager of the Competence Center Product and has internal interfaces with ASML Project and Solution Team Managers, IT and Business stakeholders, HR, finance, purchasing, suppliers and consultants.
The IT division supports information management, infrastructure and key business processes across ASML. The ICT infrastructure, hardware and applications are absolutely mission-critical for almost all ASML's internal and external activities.

Education
Academic working and thinking level, ideally, candidate will have a Master degree in an engineering discipline.

Experience

• •Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in project management with projects up to 500K Euro and more than 10 fte.
• •Minimum of 5 years  experience in Product Configuration and Lifecycle Management
• •Background in IT and engineering.
• •Sound knowledge of project management methodologies like PRINCE2 and PMBOK; project experience with scrum and agile methodologies
• •Fluent in English.
