Junior Product Assurance Engineer (PA) Job Description

As Product Assurance Engineer you are responsible that the quality process with regard to design, control, methodologies and techniques in a project result in the agreed quality level of Company and the Customer. The Product Assurance Engineer is and must acts as an independent body.

As Product Assurance Engineer you will be required to managing a considerable variety of tasks amongst which are:

• You will monitor and validated all quality aspects necessary to achieve the quality level as determined by Company, Customer and the ECSS standards. By proactively monitoring and inspecting the you will detect and resolve quality issues.
• You will manage project related matters as:
  • Project specific Product Assurance plan
  • Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS) requirements.
  • Parts, material and process requirements
  • Electronic, Electrical, and Electro-mechanical (EEE) component requirements
• You will assure that Non Conformances are registered, assigned, resolved, communicated and closed with consensus of all relevant shareholders.
• You will manage and assure one time preparation of
  • Request For Waiver, Deviation and Approval (RFW, RFD and RFA)
  • Product Part Approval Document (PAD)
• You have a proactive role in realizing an optimal relationship with the customers Production Assurance as chairman of
  • Parts & Material Control Board, Non-conformance Review Board and Test Review Board (PMCB, NRB and TRB)
  • Mandatory, Critical Inspection Point (MIP, KIP)
  • Manufactory, Integration and Test Readiness Review (MRR, IRR and TRR)
• You are a member of the Configuration Control Board and as such will contribute to the comparison between As-designed and As-built.
• You will manage Product Assurance requirements in design, development, test and operations.
• You will perform RAMS analyses
• You will participate in project meetings and -audits
• You will support Supply Chain Management in validating Flight Hardware Services and Product suppliers by conducting on site audits.
• You will support tender management by providing input on Quality Organization and Quality Processes for a quotation
• On a monthly basis you will report the status of quality aspects as part of Project specific Progress Reports.

• You are responsible for the overall design-verification of the product through a Verification Control Document (VCD)
• You are responsible for content and completeness of Configuration Management with respect to a production of development project.
• You are responsible for capturing and managing Configuration Items through a Configuration Item Data List (CIDL) on product level.
• You are responsible for the completeness of all PA documents and End Item Data Packages after Critical Design Review until Delivery
• You are responsible for Production Assurance and as such must use your veto when quality is at stake.

Junior Product Assurance Engineer (PA) Job Requirements

•  You have experience in the area of quality assurance in complex industrial products . (preferably in the field of aerospace or aviation)
• You must have considerable technical background in applications such as Engineering
• You have a bachelor degree in engineering (aerospace, electro-mechanical or equivalent) with at least 2 years plus experience in a similar position and industry
• You have a master degree in engineering (aerospace, electro-mechanical or equivalent)
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• You have full professional proficiency in English
