We are looking for you to be part of a highly skilled team that builds and extends our core product, the Effectiveness Platform. Depending on your experience and skill, you will be working in multiple areas like web backend (Nginx, Django/Python, SQL), web frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and everything in between (testing, operations).

You will help Software Diagnostics build and extend a solid cloud service to improve software development across the globe. For this, you are an open-minded person that likes to be part of an international team. You are not afraid of learning new technologies and have a pragmatic, problem-solving mind.
 

Big-Data Engineer / Backend Developer Job Requirements

Position Requirements

• Computer science studies (incl. related disciplines) completed with Bachelor, Master, Diploma, or PhD
• Profound general knowledge in software engineering, development, and quality
• Experience in building big data applications
• Very good knowledge in database technologies (SQL, NOSQL, …) and parallel processing
• Knowledge in PostgreSQL and Python/Django will be a plus
• Fluently written and spoken English
• Experience with test-driven development and agile processes will be a plus
