Supply Chain Manager (m/f)
Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Manager will work closely with the Head of Supply Chain as well as with internal departments to ensure that the supply chain function is a contributor to growth and development as well as a satisfied customer base. This role holds accountability for processing the German Direct to Market (DTM) purchase orders and forecasts with relevant manufacturing sites within the company as well as processing all finished product and finished product sample requests with relevant manufacturing sites. The Supply Chain Manager will co-ordinate the required activities for DTM product releases to market and work closely with quality and manufacturing departments to resolve any issues which may impact on adherence to delivery dates. The appointee will be also in charge to co-ordinate all changes relevant to routine manufacture i.e. routine artwork changes, documentation updates, license variations with the relevant departments within the company and the vendors.
Skills & Experience
The role requires a degree in Chemistry or Business Administration (or equivalent), coupled with practical commercial skills and experience. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with previous work experience in a supply chain, inventory or logistics department in a pharmaceutical company. The ability to work independently, responding to inquiries from varied parties and prioritise with ease necessitates that the appointee is a quick learning and flexible person fluent in German and English (oral and written). We are looking for a person able to develop an excellent knowledge of plans and forecasts with a natural and open style so as to become a positive and dynamic member of the team. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SAP would be beneficial.
