Who are we looking for?
Talented young professionals and graduates with up to 3 years work experience who hold a University Master's Degree in Aerospace engineering. Aerospace engineers make an impact in a number of areas within Shell. Your engineering and analytical skills are a powerful combination as you develop and design technical solutions in a broad, complex manufacturing environment. You are also likely to have the necessary skills to successfully process a range of information and effectively work in diverse teams.
What you could do at Shell
You could work in Assen on onshore or offshore oil and gas fields. In addition we have subsurface and surface facilities and people from those disciplines therefore need to work very closely together. This means you also get an understanding of aspects which do not directly relate to your discipline or skill pool. There is a strong sense of doing things together like problem solving. Starting in Assen as a graduate will help you build a very strong basis that will be beneficial throughout the rest of your career. You will be matched to one of our engineering disciplines that fits with your ambitions and your skills, like Mechanical Static Engineering: you’ll provide first-line mechanical static (pressurised equipment), shore based, maintenance and engineering support.
You will be working with other like-minded individuals at the heart of our business. These roles are part of our Shell Graduate Programme.
