The Service-NPI Engineer secures and improves the serviceability and reliability of the IGT-Systems products during the Product Creation Process and after field introduction during the field maintenance phase, in the various NPI projects.
The Responsibilities:
For the (sub) systems and components for which you are assigned to work for by being part of the cross functional Product creation process team:
1. Define, create and release Service information (e.g. electronic documentation, remote Service information, FAQ and tips and training course content for the Field Service Engineers).
2. Define and document the required spare parts.
3. Prepare and execute tests for validation of Service functionality, serviceability and reliability.
4. Prepare and execute the knowledge transfer towards the internal training center and the IGT-Systems Customer Services Helpdesk based on the training course content.
5. Support the Helpdesk in solving field issues related to service deliverables.
6. Investigate (sub) systems/components and advise on how to further optimize serviceability and reliability.
7. Validate all Engineering Change Requests (ECR) with a focus on possible Service impact, and approve ECR's when Service aspects are secured.
8. Continuously improve the information and Service workflow, based on field service feedback.
9. Participate and implement, via LEAN methodology, in continuous improvement initiatives on serviceability, reliability processes and Way-of-Working.
