Solutions Architects Job Description

Solutions Architects are responsible for the design of the complex software architecture. 

As member of a self-organizing Scrum team, you help decide how work is addressed and optimally distributed among the team members. While keeping focus on delivering committed result as a team, you assume full responsibility for delivering your assignments - and are fine to assist with or to take over tasks originally assigned to other colleagues. You feel responsible towards end-users, and reach out when they need your help. You make full use of the freedoms given to "do your thing" and to be innovative in creating new technology, but stick fully to common promises made towards your colleagues & the organization. At the same time, you help improving best practices - and are constantly looking to make them even better. Your duties include:

• Design information, application and technical architectures – adhering to and improving the enterprise architecture platform
• Design and develop new systems or drastically enhance existing ones, in close collaboration with other team members including the Product Owner – this includes determining program requirements and procedures for software maintenance
• Deliver input for tenders and specific client contracts
• Report on progress of work to Scrum Master and / or Delivery Manager
• Participate in knowledge “guilds” and actively share and develop knowledge on software development, professional development, software quality, new technology, new tools and techniques and training
• Guide and coach team-members as subject matter expert

Job Requirements

• 5 – 10 years of senior professional experience at expert level
• Customer focused, committed to quality excellence, embracing SMART and transparency
• Can-Do spirit, agile, intrapreneurial, self-managing, resourceful, results oriented
• Team player, excellent communication & social skills, helpful, conscious, reliable
• Having been exposed to working (and living) internationally is a plus
• Proficient in English both spoken and written (CEFR B2+)
• Bachelor, Master or Doctoral degree (or world-class expertise in another manner)
• Any previous experience with Human Capital Management software is an asset

• Software Engineering position focusing on large software solution development
• Complex software architecture design | Agile Development Experience (SAFe)
• Modern web (MVC), mobile and API clients architecture and development
• Design patterns and methodologies | Object oriented programming
• Software architecture: client-server, n-tiers, elastic computing, SOA
• Excellent C# .NET Framework expertise
