The Role
The main responsibilities of the role will be to ensure that products manufactured meet with customer's requirements; this will involve reacting to quality issues, route cause analysis and the use of continuous improvement techniques. Pursuing continuous improvement within manufacturing and quality systems you deputise for the Quality Manager when required and lead by example.
Responsibilities:
Investigate on going quality issues
Support quality improvement activities within manufacturing
Support final release activities including compiling and reviewing First Article Inspection Reports
Carry out reviews and report on non-conformance data
Completion, maintenance and review of quality records
Carry out internal audits
Investigate customer complaints as required
Final product quality and inspection
Help drive the quality thinking through the business
The Person
You will have previous experience working as a Quality professional within an engineering environment, ideally with an appreciation of Aerospace or Automotive standards. With a good understand of manufacturing techniques you will have experience developing supplier relationships and be comfortable holding face to face meetings.
With a relevant engineering qualification you will be a good communicator and with a 'right first time' attitude
