Specialist Sourcing Services (m/f) Job Description

• Responsible for executing sourcing and category strategies in the assigned sourcing responsibility as delegated by the respective category manager
• Responsible for a detailed process know-how which is executed at all categories, sites and business units in the assigned sourcing responsibility (process governance)
• Have an oversight of the system landscape and understand differences and commonalities
• Analyze and improve the processes in a very autonomous independent working-style to optimize process costs and prepare for future business challenges
• Drive local implementation projects to improve processes in the assigned areas
• Oversee and manage the entire Source-to-Procure process independently in a well defined functional sourcing area (Engineering & Construction) within the GSC
• Collaborate across functions with e.g. local business partners or other sourcing areas, provide sourcing process support in accordance with existing flows
• Establish a close relationship with Category Management, business partners as well as GBSC, outsourced vendor on a local, tactical level
• Run and support the sourcing helpdesk to provide business partner and organizational support for sourcing questions and business needs for sourcing activities

Specialist Sourcing Services (m/f) Job Requirements

• Bachelor or similar in Business Administration; 2-3 years experience in purchasing or closely related field
• Ability to build strong partnership with local business partners
• Very good communication style to work with different internal partners
• Experience in working in an ambiguous, dynamic and rapidly changing business environment
• Sourcing experience in an international company with considerable spend responsibility preferred, negotiation and contracting of business agreements
• Ensure (or maintain) internal and external GxP requirements as documented in national regulations
• Strong business acumen
• Negotiation and influencing skills as well as analytical thinking and quality orientation
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in a variety of communication settings and styles
• Fluency in German as well as a good command of English
