Our client is a leading technology product development and business consultancy practice. Their client coverage is global; they work at the cutting edge in creating and developing intellectual property and they provide intelligent solutions & strategy advice to existing or developing technologies & products.

Due to business growth, they are currently looking for a Senior IT Technician to take responsibility for system administration and work with the services and support team. The role will involve providing 1st line support and system maintenance.

The Role:
• Responsibility for the management of video and audio equipment, phone systems and printers.
• 1st line support
• Administration of Windows XP, Server Operating Systems and Applications, VMWare
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, and suggest improvements to help the business.
• Manage centralized servers and media and recovery tests.

Senior IT Technician Job Requirements

Required:
• Experience of Windows XP, 7 and Server in a Networked Environment
• Administration experience with VMWare ESX
• Experienced in administration of centralized systems
• Experience in a support role
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Full rights to work in the UK.
