Engineers Job Requirements

Talented young professionals and graduates with up to 3 years work experience who hold a University Master's Degree in engineering, e.g. Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical or Power/Electrical Engineering or another technical degree.

Your engineering and analytical skills are a powerful combination as you develop and design technical solutions in a broad, complex manufacturing environment. You are also likely to have the necessary skills to successfully process a range of information and effectively work in diverse teams.

What you could do at Shell
You will be matched to one of our engineering disciplines that fits with your ambitions and your skills. Some of the options available include:

• Mechanical Static Engineering, you’ll provide first-line mechanical static (pressurised equipment), shore based, maintenance and engineering support.
• Process Automation, Control and Optimisation (PACO) Engineering, you could work on a range of Upstream and Downstream projects and operations, including base layer, advance process control, process safeguarding and alarm management.
• Electrical engineering, you will be troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues, designing hardware and software, and monitoring power distribution.
