The Role & Your Tasks
As a Food Application Technician you are responsible for the execution of food application studies. You work out detailed work plans, taking into account statistical boundary conditions, execute experiments including the organization of the sensory panel, the statistical evaluation of the sensory data, the interpretation of the data and the reporting of the results of food application study in consultation with the Global Food Application Development Manager. You remain up-to-date with the developments in the sensory sciences, (emerging) food market trends, and of the products developed by Ohly's competitors. Preferably you are able to come up with new market relevant application ideas for demos, and are able to recognize patentable ideas.
Your Profile
You have an abitur followed by an MSc in Food Chemistry/Food Science and Technology engineering. Previous work experience in the food industry is a pre. You have good analytical and experimentation skills and have good communication and reporting skills. You are a team player and like to work in an entrepreneurial environment. You are a self-starter, able to handle changing priorities and have a good command of English, both spoken and written.
