Material Planner (m/f) Job Description

Your key responsibilities:

• Secure the agreed spare parts and swap units availability at a cost optimized level
• System-supported demand forecasting based on historical demand data, repair, sales and maintenance forecasts
• Continuous optimization of planning parameters in B2X parts planning system (including “end of life” and “last time buy”)
• Material requirements planning for the B2X supply chain network considering demand, returns, existing stock and open orders incl. submission of purchase and repair orders to new parts and repair suppliers
• Constantly monitoring of open purchase and repair orders and rescheduling open orders based on demand
• Clearance of parts or swap units shortages

Material Planner (m/f) Job Requirements

Your experience and qualifications:

• High-ranking university degree in a Master/Bachelor of Science Program or a comparable commercial education combined with a documented minimum of 3 years of successful working experience in material planning and purchasing
• Excellent knowledge of after sales processes is absolutely vital
• Profound knowledge of MS Office applications
• Fluent business English, a further language is an option but not a must, intercultural communication ability
• Excellent analytical skills as well as superior communication and relationship management skills, strong
• intercultural communication abilities combined with result orientation, assertiveness and resilience
• Flexibility and mobility are expected
• Independent and well-organized working style as well as the ability to engage with Senior Management of OEMs and Suppliers organizations
