(Senior) Producer, New Products (m/f) Job Description

Tasks to inspire:

• Oversee all stages of the external production of a project, from its initial feasibility analysis to its live operation on all targeted platforms
• Define, develop and audit schedules and specification requirements for deliverables based upon project goals
• Identify quality, time, inefficiency and cost conflicts during the game development and recommend solutions
• Manage the Milestone Review process ensuring that key deliverables are evaluated by the relevant stakeholders and that a comprehensive “State of the Game” can be presented to upper management for review and approval at all monetary and major development milestones
• Support the integration phase to facilitate a smooth handoff of operational capability from the external development team to the internal Gameforge Live team assigned to the game
• Perform due diligence and identify gaps in existing team and departmental processes and recommend viable improvements
• Communicate the project plan and progress to relevant teams; liaise with internal and external stakeholders

(Senior) Producer, New Products (m/f) Job Requirements

Qualifications to convince:

• A passion for games
• Several years of software development experience in the games industry; experience with online, free-to-play games is a plus
• Experience in project management in a leadership role
• Expert knowledge of the use of project management tools, such as MS Project, JIRA, Hansoft
• Excellent knowledge of product life cycle, tools, processes and execution planning
• Experience working in a live services model is preferred
• Demonstrated ability working with multiple distributed development teams
• Strong negotiation, communication and conflict resolution skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Proficiency in English, written and oral; German a plus!
