Weir Minerals with Benelux office in Nederweert (NL) is part of the Scottish Weir Group PLC. They are specialists in delivering and supporting slurry equipment solutions including pumps, hydrocyclones, valves, screen machines and screen media, rubber and wear resistant linings for global mining and mineral processing, the power sector and general industry. Their products strength lies in the superiority of their hydraulic designs and wear and corrosion and abrasion resistant materials. In slurry pumping, processing and control applications where the cost of ownership often outweighs capital cost as a priority, they help their customers address such issues as longevity, capacity, efficiency of operation, and maintenance. They are there for you and your operation, every step of the way. They are currently setting up a new pan-European team that will focus primarily on the sales & development of the crushers, screens & 'comminution' product & service line.
THE ROLE
· You are responsible for the expansion of existing customers and attracting new customers in the ‘pump’ business, ‘separators’, ‘valve’, ‘comminution’, and ‘rubber’ market;
· You give informed and consultative advice to customers based on thorough product and process knowledge;
· You follow-up on opportunities and negotiate potential contracts in accordance with the applicable standards within WEIR Minerals;
· You build close relationships with your customers, know what they want and report these findings in order to identify possible product development opportunities;
· You have team management skills, know how to set clear goals, track progress and ensure feedback to develop team members.
YOUR PROFILE
· Bachelor or Master engineering degree or equal through experience;
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a technical-commercial role;
· Strong account management and planning skills;
· Ability to analyze, negotiate and ‘sell’ contracts;
· Excellent Dutch & English language skills;
· Experience in sales of equipment for the dredging, aggregated and / or mining industries as well as heavy industries;
· Knowledge of and interest in technical B2B products (e.g. pumps, valves, separators, screens, screen media, rubber products and comminution) and processes (process knowledge in mineral processing systems or in pumps and rotating equipment).
