• As a Senior Process Application engineer you will support ASML customers with their current and future challenges in process development to efficiently produce devices with ever shrinking features.• You need to identify strategies to stretch the lithography equipment and associated processes beyond its specification to deliver the customer the required on product overlay performance.• You need to cooperate with and drive the applicable ASML organization in order to come up with a solution that meets customer's requirement.
Job Description •
Working with the HAD project leader, account team and marketing organization to define the package that meets customers' requirements.•
Interact with and develop a solid working relationship with the customer to help understand and develop valued solutions to their fabrication issues.•
Give strategic guidance to junior engineers.•
Demonstrate technical leadership through problem solving, training and presentation.•
Generate IP.•
Generate publications with the customers.
Context of the position •
The Holistic Application Development is ASMLs department to support the worldwide customer to enhance their cutting edge lithography technology in their state of the art semiconductor fab.• If you want to work on the forefront of semiconductor manufacturing and deliver “fit for purpose” solutions the Holistic Application Development department is the department which can offer you this challenge.•
As a member of the Overlay Competency group in Holistic Application Engineer you will work in close corporation with product managers, account teams and the development departments within the Business Line Application.
Master or PhD degree in Physics, Mathematics or Engineering, preferred with a background of semiconductor physics
Experience•
8 years' experience in 300mm semiconductor fab environment within the area of lithography and/or overlay metrology• Technical background of ASML XT and NXT TWINSCAN and/or YIELDSTAR preferable• Knowledge about Process integration, Semiconductor Device's, Semiconductor Manufacturing•
Fluent in speaking, reading and writing English•
Ability to lead and steer small technical teams.•
Demonstrated ability to perform in high pressure and high ambiguity environments and still be able to make the correct decisions while maintaining focus on customer goals and relationships.
Personal skills •
Strong client focus and commitment to customer satisfaction• Solution minded and able to see and develop the bigger picture• Technical background with experience with Matlab programming.•
Ability to create clear presentations with point analysis.•
Result focus and a “can do” spirit•

Other Information •
Willingness to travel to ASML customers worldwide within the projects as needed.• Within the Holistic Application Development worked will be done with Customer data and therefor you will handle sensitive customer data.
