Who are we looking for?
Talented interns, graduates and young professionals (with less than 3 years’ work experience) who hold a University Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

What you could do at Shell
You will be matched to one of our engineering disciplines that fits with your ambitions and your skills. Some of the options available include:
- Rotating Equipment Engineering, where you’ll play an e essential role in maintaining our exceptional technical performance and have the opportunity to display your knowledge on major machinery types, rotor dynamics and performance calculations.
- Mechanical Static Engineering, you’ll provide first-line mechanical static (pressurised equipment), shore based, maintenance and engineering support.
- Process Automation, Control and Optimisation (PACO) Engineering, you could work on a range of Upstream and Downstream projects and operations, including base layer, advance process control, process safeguarding and alarm management.
- Asset Maintenance, Reliability and Turnaround Engineering, you’ll be making critical decisions regarding Shell’s offshore and onshore facilities, in order to optimise the technical performance of our installations. As part of the team you will get involved in technical troubleshooting and reliability engineering. You could also work on our new plant designs, construction & maintaining assets and large maintenance shut downs (turnarounds) of our oil and gas installations.
