ASML - Java EE Designer/Developer Job Description

ASML is on the verge of changeing it's way of working by introducing an on-site server that continuously monitors all scanners within the customer domain. This server will detect (upcoming) system failures and identify what corrective actions are needed via a knowledge and procedure database. The software running on that server will be Java EE based. Core aspects of the design will be database management and information distribution (worldwide), performance efficient data collection schemes and data to information transitions. Job Description

• Writing and updating detailed Element Design Specification Documents;
• Code development in Java EE 7;
• Execution of software tests, set-up (automated) testing.

ASML - Java EE Designer/Developer Job Requirements

• Master or Bachelor;
• 5+ Years or more of relevant working experience;
• Hard requirements: 3 years or more hands on experience in development in similar technologies.

• Significant Java EE and Java expertise, hands on knowledge of
• Web services and HTTP protocols;
• Java EE application runtime, e.g. Wildfly;
• GUI frameworks for desktop and web applications;
• Database management and design, e.g. Oracle;
• Use-Case analysis, software design (UML);
• Experience in a technical / product creation environment is considered a pre;
• Scrum and JIRA;
• Gitflow workflow;
• Test-driven development (TDD);
• Continuous integration (CI);
• Writing and managing test specifications.
