1. Initiating and supporting improvements in both the organization and design of the Order Fulfillment Process and
2. Executing and improving the supporting processes with the aim to optimize the overall use of all production factors in manufacturing.
Job Description
1. Act as a sounding board and sparring partner for Managers, Directors and Senior Vice President (depending on seniority);
2. Facilitate, initiate and carry out improvement projects with regard to EUV factory related processes;
3. Manage the process of human resource planning (medium / long term);
4. Facilitate Manufacturing target setting process and definition of reporting.
Context of the position •
The EUV factory is responsible for the production of the newest product family of ASML lithography systems and is separated from main product production in both organization and location; • The EUV factory is currently in the early New Product Introduction phase and is expected to ramp-up to volume production during the coming 2 years. Rethinking and re-defining of organization and processes is needed to cope with ramp-up;• Expect a dynamic and enthusiastic working environment, where flexibility, drive and initiatives are highly valued; •
The Business Engineer reports to the Team Leader of the EUV Business Engineering department, but will work operationally for directors of manufacturing & in cooperation with their managers.
Bachelor / Master in Industrial Engineering & Management Science / Technical Business Administration.
Experience•
2-5 years of practical Industrial Engineering experience; •
Knowledge of production (control) processes in a highly technological environment is an advantage; •
Experience with change management within production-organizations required; •
Preference experienced with IT-systems in the area of production-control (Excel, SAP, SAP BO).
Personal skills •
Self-assured, capable of convincing people, also at higher management levels; •
Strong communicator in Dutch (is a MUST) and English with strong presentation skills; •
Strong analytic capability, able to set up structures, thinks in processes, accurate; •
Consultancy skills; •
Ambitious and with a pro-active, initiating attitude; •
Change- management competencies; •
Ability to plan and set priorities; •
Team worker, good social skills, customer-oriented.
