The mission of a JEE software developer is to develop JEE applications within the DE apps department. The Java EE software developer will work on the Optimizer applications.
Job Description
The job consists of following activities:
o The main activity of a Java EE developer within the optimizer projects is to develop new features within time and with a high quality level.
o During development communication with stakeholders and fellow developers is key to success.
o The Java EE developer will use his in depth knowledge of the Java EE architecture and way of working in his daily work.
o The Java EE developer will be able to use and adapt frameworks like Maven / Jenkins and JPA to the need of the product being developed.o Test driven development will be used during product creation.
o The product under development will be created in iterations using the Scrum way of working.
Context of the position
Development & Engineering: The department D&E Applications develops integrates and qualifies functional modules and application packages in the area of water metrology (critical dimension and overlay) and wafer fab applications (performance control applications). All development activities need to be conducted with the constraints of specification, time and budget as demanded by market conditions.The holder of this position reports to the project lead, interacts with the Group / Team lead and operates within multidisciplinary development teams.
Master degree or Bachelor degree with sufficient experience.Additional skills: Mathematical / Statistical affinity
