The IT Build department, a key area of central IT, ensures the sustainability of IT systems in both domestic and foreign locations. We make sure that our IT systems at BMW Financial Services are available for all business processes and are always developing them further. We achieve optimal overall solutions by working closely with teams of specialists in business processes, IT technologies, IT processes and project managers.

As a technical IT Project Manager (m/f) in Financial Services, you will be responsible for the overall implementation of requirements from various corporate initiatives in the international environment of BMW Financial Services. These incorporate contract management systems, credit rating solutions, shared service systems, vehicle evaluation and risk management and BMW Bank systems focussing on payments/collections, amongst others.

You will approach exciting tasks in IT projects in a solution-oriented way and advise the projects in planning and controlling the build scopes. Your tasks will include ensuring an operational, cost- and risk-optimised IT architecture. You will use your technical knowledge to plan and take responsibility for the maintenance scopes.

Build Manager in SAP Financial Services (m/f) Job Requirements

You should have:

• University degree in information technology, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience preferably at financial service providers, IT service providers, in the automotive sector, in the field of banks or insurance companies.
• Experience in carrying out IT projects and maintenance tasks.
• Experience in designing and developing IT systems.
• Technological expertise in fields such as web technology, Linux, SAP.
• Experience in project management.
• Business-fluent English (advanced knowledge of German).
• Dedicated commitment and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Entrepreneurial thinking and behaviour and strong customer-orientation.
